Government’s
War on Raves Went Too Far, Louisiana Court Rules
"The American Civil Liberties Union scored a
when U.S. District Judge G. Thomas Porteous ruled that prosecutors cannot
force the organizers of a rave dance party to ban pacifiers or glow
sticks."
"The music, lighting, and ambience
were all fine-tuned to elicit and augment altered states of consciousness.
The rhythm of the music was a precise 120 beats-per-minute, the frequency
of the fetal heart rate, and the same beat used by South American shaman
to bring their tribes into a trance state. Through dancing together,
without prescribed movements or even partners, rave dancers sought to
reach group consciousness on a level they had never experienced
before. The object of a rave was to experience a reality that went beyond
the self. Ravers aspired to an awareness of group organism.
Inspired by the holograms and fractals on their computers, they sought to
create a dynamic system in which each member could experience the essence
of the whole."
Electronic
Music Defense & Education Fund
"Mission: To raise and provide funds
for legal assistance to innocent professionals in the electronic dance
music business who are targeted by law enforcement in the expanding
campaign against "club drugs". In addition to providing funds
for legal efforts to protect the industry, EM:DEF will serve as a
spokes-agency for the electronic dance music industry -- providing an
independent voice on behalf of industry professionals, while allowing
professionals to avoid public association which could result in
retaliation by law enforcement."
Rave

"Everything changes when you start to
emit your own frequency rather than absorb the frequencies around you,
when you start imprinting your intent on the Universe rather than
receiving an imprint from the Universe."
