Ask Dr. Shulgin Online is a public service brought to you by Dr. Alexander Shulgin and the Center for Cognitive Liberty & Ethics (CCLE). Dr. Shulgin is a chemist and author. He has created over 200 novel compounds with visionary properties. The CCLE is a nonprofit education, law, and policy center working in the public interest to foster freedom of thought.

The CCLE supports public policies that foster and protect cognitive liberty: the right of each individual to think independently, to use the full spectrum of his or her mind, and to engage in multiple modes of thought. The CCLE hopes that Ask Dr. Shulgin Online will foster increased understanding and debate about psychedelics, empathogens, and other cognitive enhancing substances, and we seek to provide interested people with open access to information on an important topic that is shrouded by government “drug war” propaganda and urban myth.
