Douglas Husak
Douglas is
interested in all aspects of legal philosophy. More narrowly, he is
interested in the connections between moral philosophy and the substantive
criminal law---especially decisions about criminalization and the moral
limits of the criminal sanction. This latter interest has led him to
critically examine the rationale for drug prohibitions.
His book
publications include: Legalize This! The Case For Decriminalizing
Drugs (Verso, 2002),
Drugs and Rights (Cambridge University Press, 1992), and
Philosophy of Criminal Law (Rowman & Littlefield, 1987)
